“Beyond the Seven Mitzvot” – In the third interactive Brit Olam broadcast, Phil Chernofsky explains that the “Seven Mitzvot” are categories of required behavior, and that they can be expanded into many details. They are also expected to take on other obligations which are not explicitly included in the Seven Mitzvot, such as showing respect for their parents. In reply to comments by listeners, Chernofsky explained that in many cases the details of a specific mitzva are different for Jews and for non-Jews.
