In the seventh Brit Olam interactive broadcast, Moshe Kempinski views current events as a fulfillment of prophecies. The lesson of Shavuot is that we must prepare ourselves to participate, and the process is often more important than a specific goal. The Torah was given in a desert to teach several lessons: A lack of a specific owner, humility, and the need for clarity of vision. In addition, we should be ready for more surprises.
